A day at the pumpkin Patch

Chad and I took Lola to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. Right away she was amazed by all the beautiful colors in the pumpkins, squash, indian corn, and fallen leaves. She loved to watch all the kids walking around, then we took her to pick out her own pumpkin....she looked and looked, finally she saw one and almost jumped out of her daddies arms to reach it....that was the one! We took some pictures of the fun time we all had....Enjoy!

A Day at the Park

I can't believe how big Lola is getting....in exactly one week she will be 6 months old....that is 1/2 a YEAR....time is going too quickly! My sister Faith and I took her to the park today, it is very nice out and it may be one of the last few warms days so we decided to take advantage of it! We took some pictures of Lola while there :-)

First Blog!

Well this kicks off my first blog! I can't believe how much has happened in the last year. Last year at this time I was sitting wondering whether the precious life in me was going to be a boy or a girl and anxiously awaiting the "big" ultrasound. Now I am sitting here thinking about how I can't believe our little baby girl is almost 6 months old...that's 1/2 a YEAR, that doesn't even seem possible! People always told me they grow up fast and I just smiled, now I know exactly what they mean.

September is here and almost gone. I have been ready for fall since the first hot and muggy day of summer, there is just something about the cool breeze while taking a walk and feeling the leaves rustle and crunch under your feet. The leaves are are all still pretty green and the temperatures have been in the 80's, I know in a couple of months I will praying for weather like this but in the meantime I am very much looking forward to sweatshirt weather.

We got Lola her halloween costume already, in fact I ordered it in August! She is going to be SO cute it in, I can't wait to show her off to everyone! I am always planning months in advance, and as I type this I am pondering which style of dress I think will be cute for her first Christmas :-)
